Located in the heart of Long Island. A short trip from Manhattan by railroad… or by car. It’s a charming town, with a bustling Main Street. For us, this has always been an island paradise. It‘s where we start our kombucha journey.
Our original tea blend is the soul of the kombucha we brew. A dark and robust tea is steeped from a mixture of organically sourced green and black teas. For more character, masala spices are added... just enough. Organic sugar and our house culture is then incorporated. Given enough time, it ferments to a smooth and complex kombucha. At maturation, it shines a vibrant yellow.
Many of us make bad decisions in our busy lives. We sacrifice our health for convenience. Too much sugar, too many carbs, too many processed foods, not enough water… the list grows long. Kombucha is about making better decisions. It’s a healthier alternative made from better ingredients. A drink with vitamins, organic acids, polyphenols and less sugar than soda.
Our kombucha needs time to mature—enough time to sit there and think long and hard about the future. Once it has reached the pinnacle of depth and flavor, it’s bottled, for all to enjoy.
New York State is known for apples. Over 29 million bushels are produced annually. Our first offering is an homage to the local apple cider. Big Apple Kombucha is reminiscent of autumn, but is refreshing enough for a summer day at the beach.
